largest of the Cook Islands, the jagged peaks and sparkling lagoon of
Rarotonga rival the beauty of Tahiti’s Moorea and Bora Bora, but without
the touristic development. The capital city of Avarua offers restaurants
and shopping in the small stores and in the daily market. There are many
opportunities for snorkeling and nature hikes in the Cook Islands
Natural Heritage Project. The people of the Cook Islands are justifiably

styles. |
